Football Factory Terms & Conditions

Bookings Made Online

All bookings made via our site are subject to these terms and conditions and our code of conduct for players.

 

Contract: Our acceptance of your booking will take place when your payment is processed, at which point a contract is formed between you and us. If you are unsure at any time in the reservation process as to whether your transaction has been completed, you should telephone the venue to check that the transaction has been completed and to obtain your booking reference number.

Price: The price of each booking will be as quoted on our site at the time the payment for your booking is processed. We shall not be liable for any technical mistake resulting in the display of an incorrect price.

Cancellation: We reserve our right to cancel your booking and any future bookings with us if we are refused authority for payment.

Payment: Through pitchbooking.com we use stripe a third-party payment specialist who are compliant with payment card industry data security standards (PCI DSS). Football Factory will not store your card details without your permission and once you have entered your card number into a payment page securely hosted by Stripe, all payment data is encrypted and sent to the banks for processing. Some card details can be stored for your convenience but cannot be accessed by Football Factory and will still require security checks to be reused.

Prepaid booking: If you have used a credit/debit card, full payment will be deducted from your card at the time of making your reservation via our site.

Cancellation: We may cancel or amend your booking at any time, in which case we will refund your booking payment, however we will not be liable for any additional costs, expenses or losses arising from such amendment or cancellation.

Liability: Football Factory cannot accept responsibility for any loss or damage to personal property. All players play at their own risk and are advised to take out personal injury insurance.

Pitch Use: Our pitches can only be used for playing football unless written agreement has been received by the Football Factory management.

Childrens Party Terms and Conditions

Party Obligations
It is the responsibility of the Party Booker and guests to ensure they arrive 10 minutes before the commencement of the party at the date and time stated on the booking confirmation. This is to ensure there is sufficient time to allow for registration and coach briefings.

Party Food and Area
A party area shall be reserved for 2 hours. This will include:

  • One hour on the football on the pitch
  • 45 minutes in the party area for food

Food options are provided online at time of booking. Should any of the party guests have any dietary requirements, Football Factory must be notified in advance.

Extra food can be added to the party booking but must be ordered at the time of booking and will have an additional charge. If the party requires additional food after a booking is made, please notify Football Factory as soon as possible.

Any decorations the Party Booker wishes to supply for the party are subject to the approval of Football Factory Duty Manager at the time. Only adhesive putty (BluTac) is permitted to be used to secure any decorations.

The party area must be vacated promptly after the second hour, but guests are welcome to stay within the facility.

Cancellation Policy
Full payment is required to secure the preferred date and time for the party through pitchboking.com. In the event of a cancellation 14 days ahead of the party, this payment will be refunded, less a £20 administration fee.

Health and Safety
  • Emergency exits are located in each corner of the Factory – in the event of an emergency please leave via the closest exit and congregate in the rear car park.
  • The Football Factory is strictly a no smoking area.
  • Playing football is only permitted on the artificial surface.
  • Please use all bins provided for any rubbish.
  • Ensure children are supervised at all times.
  • Various equipment is also located around the Arena, do not touch or tamper with this equipment.
  • When entering a pitch, please use the gates provided, do not jump over the boards to enter the pitch under any circumstances.
  • When playing, please ensure the gates are closed.
  • Food and drink are not permitted on the pitches.
  • No metal boots of any description are allowed, rubber or plastic moulded studs are recommended. If unsure of footwear use trainers.
  • No dirty footwear allowed on the pitches, all footwear must be clean before entering the pitch.
  • Do not swing on the goals.
  • Do not climb on the steel framework or netting around the pitches.

When attending the Football Factory, we only accept players that follow our Code of Conduct and respect our philosophy within football.
Football Factory are pleased to be aligned with the FA’s Respect policies.
 

 
FOOTBALL FACTORY PARTICIPANTS – RESPECT CODE OF CONDUCT

All players must adhere to the Player Code of Conduct outlined below

This code of conduct is for the benefit of all players, customers and employees of Football Factory to make it the most positive experience for everyone

  • Aggressive and/or violent behaviour towards other players or members of staff will NOT be tolerated
  • Foul and abusive language will NOT be tolerated on or off the pitches
  • All players should behave in a responsible and considerate manner whilst using any of the facilities within the venue
  • Football Factory is NO SMOKING venue, including the use of vapes. Anyone found smoking will be suspended from using the facilities
  • Abuse of the facilities will NOT be tolerated.  Any abuse of the facilities will result in that player being suspended from Football Factory
  • Players and customers will be expected to dispose of their litter (drinks bottle etc) responsibly. Please show consideration to the booking taking place after yours and leave the pitches in a state you would expect to find it
  • Consideration must be given to our neighbouring businesses when parking vehicles. Please use designated parking areas at the front, rear, & to the left-hand side of the building

FOOTBALL FACTORY SPECTATORS – RESPECT CODE OF CONDUCT

We have a collective responsibility to set a good example and help provide a positive environment in which individuals can learn and enjoy the game.

  • Remember that football is played for fun and development.
  • Celebrate effort and good play from both sides.
  • Always respect the referee and coaches’ decisions and encourage players to do the same.
  • Remain within the designated spectator’s area.

Information Collected

It includes information you provide when you submit an enquiry through our site. The information you give us may include your name, address, e-mail address, phone number and payment details. We may also collect additional information in connection with your participation in any promotions or competitions offered by us and information you provide when giving us feedback or completing profile forms.

We will maintain a record of your booking history with us, including details of your previous bookings and payment status for each. With regard to each of your visits to our website we will automatically collect technical information, including the Internet Protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet, browser type and version, time zone setting, browser plug-in types and versions, operating system and platform; information about your visit, including the full Uniform Resource Locators (URL), clickstream to, through and from our site (including date and time), information you viewed or searched for page response times, page interaction information (such as scrolling, clicks, and mouse-overs), methods used to browse away from the page, and any phone number used to call our business.

Use of your information

We need to collect our customers’ personal information so that we can manage and fulfil your booking under our terms and conditions. We will use your personal information under our terms and conditions to:

  • process your booking, including but not limited to, processing payments.
  • process and arrange any cancellations and/or refunds.
  • set up your online account to allow you to access your booking history.
  • contact you by email or telephone about your booking, including sending you confirmations of your bookings and/or cancellations and communicating with you for administrative and operational reasons relating to our services; and
  • contact you by email or telephone about any outstanding payments.

If you do not provide us with all the personal information that we need to collect from you for these purposes, then this may affect our ability to fulfil your booking in accordance with our terms and conditions.

We may also use your personal information for our legitimate interests to improve the services that we provide or contact you about our services. This may include using your personal information to:

  • contact you by post, email or telephone ask your opinions.
  • monitor customer traffic patterns and use of our website.
  • to allow you to participate in interactive features of our service when you choose to do so.

Where we store your personal data

All information you provide to us is stored on our secure servers based in the United Kingdom.

Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee the security of your information transmitted to our site; any transmission is at your own risk. Once we have received your information, we will use strict procedures and security features to try to prevent unauthorised access.

How long we keep your information

We will keep your personal information for as long as necessary to provide you with services. Unless you ask us not to, we will review and possibly delete your personal information where you have not made a booking with us for five years.

We will not use your personal information for marketing purposes if you have not made a booking with us for a period of two years.

In some circumstances, we may retain your personal information for longer where necessary in the event of any claims against Football Factory or where required for our legitimate interests or by law.

Other websites

Our website may contain links to other websites which are outside our control and are not covered by this Privacy Policy. If you access other sites using the links provided, the operators of these sites may collect information from you which will be used by them in accordance with their privacy policy, which may differ from ours.

Cookies

Football Factory uses cookies for a number of purposes, for instance, to enable us to simplify the logging on process for registered users, to help ensure the security and authenticity of registered users, and to enable traffic monitoring. Non-registered visitors of the site may be sent anonymous cookies to keep track of their browsing patterns and build up a demographic profile. Whilst you do not need to allow your browser to accept cookies to browse much of our web site or to access many of our services, you must have cookies enabled if you wish to access any areas reserved for registered users. Most browsers allow you to turn off the cookie function.

We ask you as Players, Parents and Carers to be aware of the following:

Football Factory wants everyone to be able to access our webpage and participate in our Social Media Platforms, including Facebook, Instagram and TikTok. Please see below our expectations around responsible use, aligned with The FA Guidelines. It is against rules to post comments that are, or may be perceived as offensive, insulting, abusive, threatening, racist and discriminatory or any other reference that may cause harm or offence to others. Any such comment made on official websites and/or social media platforms may result in disciplinary action being taken in line with The FA’s Disciplinary Policies and Procedures.

Comments made that are threatening, abusive or racist could lead to legal action being taken against those responsible for posting/hosting them.
